Best 2 in 1 Pram Stroller
The TAVO Next glides effortlessly over most terrains thanks to its leatherette handle. It’s not the lightest stroller that we have, but it is easier to lift up and down than our competitors.
The Cybex Gazelle is a gazelle even when loaded with groceries and up to three kids. The only drawback is that it doesn’t have an additional child’s seat or a child’s boarding area to accommodate growing families.
1. TAVO Next
The TAVO Next is a budget-friendly stroller that is able to accommodate kids up to 50 pounds. It’s extremely spacious, and its seat can recline easily and lays flat. It’s also very easy to open and close, and it comes with an XXL canopy with venting and windows that peek out. In 2021, Nuna gave the TAVO an updated harness with Magnetech Secure Snap, which makes it simple and safe to fasten using just one hand.
While the TAVO is a great choice for parents looking to save money, it’s not the best choice if you want to use a bassinet or have a reversible child seat. It can only be used in only one way, and it doesn’t have the capacity to accommodate a car seat or other accessories, such as the bassinet stand, rain cover, cup holder or child snack tray. The MIXX Next is the better option for those who want more because it can accommodate these accessories.
The TAVO comes with a built-in suspension system called Free-flex that allows you to travel anywhere, and even take your child from the car to the curb. The spacious, comfortable seat lets baby lay back and relax or go off to dreamland. Parents can also enjoy the compact fold-away axle and MagneTech Secure Snap.
The TAVO folds up very easily and stands upright when folded to free space in tight spaces such as garages, closets and trunks. It is also easy to move and comes with a convenient basket for storage, as well as flip-flop-friendly brakes. It can be connected to the Nuna PIPA series of car seats in a snap with no adapters needed for an elegant travel set.
2 in 1 prams. UPPAbaby Vista v2
The UPPAbaby V2 is our most highly-rated full size stroller. It is a great choice for families with babies growing, as it can work with an infant car seat and toddler seats. This stroller is versatile enough to take a riding board and transform it into a triple stroller.
The padded seats are designed to be comfortable. The recline can be adjusted to four positions and is simple to use. The foot rest can be adjusted to make the ride more comfortable for the passengers. The canopy is massive, which is a big benefit for parents who want to shield their children from the sun. It is rated SPF 50+ and has a pop-out sun visor, two mesh peek-aboo windows and a flap-cover.
Another fantastic aspect of the UPPAbaby Vista V2 is that its fabrics can be washed in the machine. This is crucial since it can help prolong the life of your buggy 2 in 1, so that you can use it for many years. It is also easier to clean up messes such as spills of juice or food instead of having to scrub off the stains that are stubborn.
The new tires made by UPPAbaby are more hefty and soft that result in more comfortable riding. They are able to handle rough terrain and reduce vibrations while rolling through the city. The brakes are single-action, and easy to operate, with tiny pedals with color codes that are suitable for all types of footwear.
This stroller is the most expensive of our selections. But, it’s worth investing if you are looking for a stroller that will last for a long time. Take a look at the UPPAbaby Vista V2 on Amazon for more details.
3. Cybex Gazelle
The Cybex Gazelle is an excellent choice for parents looking to invest in a stroller that can grow with the family. It is a “modular” stroller or “convertible” stroller that can be set up in more than 20 ways to accommodate various seat units including infant car seats, cots, and cradles.
We love that the Cybex Gazelle is light and easy to maneuver which makes it ideal for parents who love to explore. It also comes with a large storage basket beneath and plenty of attachments to allow parents to take grocery items or light shopping with them. It’s more expensive than some other two-in-one prams, but it’s a worthwhile investment as the quality and functionality of this model are top-of-the-line.
This stroller features a one-pull harness to make secure your child’s seat easy. It also comes with a sun canopy that has XXL panels that can be removed and peek-aboo windows. It also has a practical tray for parents to store drinks, snacks and phones. The telescopic handlebar can be adjusted to fit the height of parents, and the brake is easy to access which makes it safe for children to operate.
Sophie is a mother from London, tested this stroller on two daughters who were 5 months and 10 months. She took it on uneven, hilly terrain and cobbled streets, and found it to be extremely smooth and easy to maneuver. She was impressed by the cushioned seats and footrests were specifically designed to provide comfort and the large shopping basket was very useful. She also loved that the fabric on the handlebars and hood could be washed in the washing machine. This is essential for busy parents.
4. Joovy Twin Roo+
A simple frame stroller The Twin Roo+ offers car seat click-buggy 2 in 1 compatibility and a large storage bin. It’s one of the lightest twin strollers on the market. It weighs only 24 pounds. without infant car seat attachments. This is quite light for a double stroller. It is a bit heavier than the UPPAbaby Vista V2 Double and the Thule Urban Glide 2 in 1 car seat and pram Double.
The Roo+ comes with a quick-start guide, and is easy to use. It is easy to put together and can be on the road in less than 10 minutes. It doesn’t have an integrated canopy, so your babies will require their own sunshades if they need extra coverage from the elements.
Through our tests, we noticed that the Roo+ was a dual stroller that was able to handle. It is able to navigate through most types of terrain, but it can be difficult on grassy areas and over gravel. It isn’t easy to maneuver over and up 1-inch curbs. This stroller is not recommended to use on stairs or off-road. However, its suspension system will help to reduce bumps.
The Roo+ has a large storage bin underneath the seat, but it’s difficult to access without taking off infant car seats. This is a common problem with twin frame strollers. However, Joovy offers an additional under-seat baby carrier bag that can assist with this issue.
In contrast to other top-scoring models the Roo+ does not have self-standing folds or cup holders. This is a small sacrifice for car seat compatibility and storage features however we’d prefer to have a bit more flexibility from our strollers. The stroller’s versatility when it comes to seating configuration is a big benefit. Parents can put their infant car seats either opposite directions or the same direction, based on their preferences.
