1. Babyzen YOYO2
The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned its reputation as the most lightweight stroller, both for urban dwellers as well as jet-setters. This is thanks to its extremely nimble handling and fold which fits in the overhead baggage of an aircraft. The most recent version comes with independent suspension on all 4 wheels made of Hytrel elastomer. This allows it to perfectly navigate all terrains and types’.
The bent fabric bassinet, base YOYO2 frame and 6+ months colour pack combine to create a sleek pushchair that has a soft elegant design. The frame’s weight alone is less than a kilo and is so light you can easily lift it out of the box (and do so one-handed).
It’s also easy to add or remove adaptors or attachments such as the hood, for instance, snaps on to the YOYO2 by clicking – as well as being machine washable at 30 degrees to remove staining from rice cakes smushed and half-dissolved carrot puffs. The Newborn Pack and bassinet can be used from birth as an infant stroller. It can also be transformed to a stroller by 6 months using the YOYO connect other chassis.
2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore
Evenflo Pivot Xplore stroller wagon is an excellent choice for parents who are looking for an adaptable stroller. It transforms from a single stroller near me to a wagon by simply turning the handle, meaning parents can select the option they want to use on their trip. The wagon can be used by one or two kids from 6 months up to 5 years old, and it comes with a spacious storage basket for everything you require on the go.
The Xplore has dual canopies which can rotate from front to back, offering adequate sun protection for all family members. It has a smaller footprint than other wagons. This might not be suitable for long trips or napping.
The frame of the Xplore wagon is solid and sturdy, however, it isn’t able to bend as much as some other wagons we tested. It is also more difficult than other wagons to fold, and does not lock tightly when folded. It is easy to move, though, and it is able to fit through narrow 28 inches doors.
3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side
This basic double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent option for parents seeking an affordable, second-hand travel stroller. It scored high in our Strollers and Multiples Test for weight and folded dimensions, meaning it is lightweight and compact when folded and easy to carry and put into a car trunk. It also comes with an adjustable reclining seat that can be positioned in several positions as well as a parent cup holder. Other important features include 360-degree shock-absorbing front wheels as well as two large hanging storage bags.
It did better in our push and turn test than many of the other strollers we tested, but was still difficult to maneuver over uneven terrain or through narrow doors. Its sunshades were among the smallest of all strollers we test. They only cover the top and do not have peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have larger canopy sizes.
The Delta took us just over three minutes to put together using an average manual and all of the components required tools. It is missing some features that we consider essential in double strollers. This includes an extra-large basket, reclining seats and adjustable leg rests.
