Roasting

As a light roast, Lazy Sunday is soft on the palate, and then softens into a warm embrace for your senses. The cocoa sourced from Latin America is used to smooth the brew while Africa includes citrus notes for balance. The result is a coffee that can be enjoyed on its own or with cake, milk chocolate and other sweets. It also goes well with lemon drizzle cakes or vanilla sponges well.

We recommend using the French Press method to brew this coffee. Heating your vessel by adding some water that has just been boiled will keep it warm. After the brewing process, let the coffee steep for four minutes. This will ensure that the grounds have been filled with water and are not being over-extracted. The water must be pushed through using the plunger. Don’t stir or stir your coffee as this can cause unpleasant elements to appear in the cup.

Strength – 3, soft and easy going, great for relaxing on the weekend.

The cocoa-like notes can be traced back to a winters day spent on the sofa with a good book and a hug from the family. Make sure to heat your French Press by using water that isn’t yet at the boiling point. This will stop the coffee from being over extracted and causing undesirable elements in your drink. Add your grounds and 250ml of water that is off the boil. Steep for four minutes, take a plunge, and then enjoy.
