Baby Jogger City Mini
The City Mini is a full-size stroller that doesn’t make a statement in any way except the fact that it’s light and compact pushchair when folded. It also ranks well in all our categories. However it doesn’t score higher than some of its competitors due to the poor placement of the peek-a-boo and storage that’s a bit restricted.
It is, however, an excellent stroller and one of our top choices for families that require something that will get them through everyday use and even occasional adventures. It has a very wide footrest that is cushioned, which means that the little ones will be able to relax. The seat reclines to a flat position, however we found it a bit tricky to do and took two hands. The adjustable calf supports are a nice feature that allows your child’s feet to flex when they get tired.
Like many of the other strollers on our list The City Mini has a huge canopy that is UV50 and which parents rave about. The sun shade is elegantly constructed and can be pulled all the way down, which is great because it will keep your child safe from sun without having to constantly put it back in the right spot.
Another great feature of the City Mini is that it is able to be converted into double strollers by attaching an accessory kit. This gives you the option of using any Baby Jogger car seat and creating an entire travel system from the start. The only downside is that adding a second seat to the stroller changes its appearance and feel. Some parents may be unable to handle this once they are used to it.
Another option to the City Mini is the City Mini GT Double Stroller. The model is a little more expensive than the single City Mini but it does include additional features, including “forever air” rubber suspension and tyres that make it suitable for off-road excursions. It has an adjustable handlebar, a parking brake that can be operated by hand, and a more user-friendly design than the regular City Mini.
