After a series of social media posts suggesting it, Italian supercar maker Lamborghini finally revealed its NFT (non fungible token) Project. Dubbed Space Key and created in collaboration with an unknown artist the project is made up of an advanced carbon fiber composite material that was sent to the International Space Station for research purposes.

The digital artwork

Oefner utilized a balloon with a camera that captured each of the individual shots, which were then merged into the final image. The result is a picture that is completely out of the world. It captures both the beauty of Earth and the futuristic, hyperrealistic view of a car rising away from the Earth. The Space Keys will be auctioned off in the near future, but the exact date and time of the event haven’t been announced yet.

The auction
