The Canasta
Canasta is a card game that is part of the Rummy series, became popular in America in the 1950s. The object of the card game is to make melds (three cards or more of the same rank) and canastas (seven or more cards). The bigger the meld, the more points you can earn. Jokers and 2s count as wildcards, but a meld has to contain at minimum two natural cards in order for it to be valid. The first team to score 5000 points wins the game.
Segundo Santos lawyer, along with Alberto Serrato, an architect created Canasta while playing card games with their friends in Montevideo, Uruguay in 1939. They wanted to create a game that was faster than Bridge and less dependent on chance than Rummy. They combined elements of the games Bridge, Rummy and Conquan to create Canasta, a game that is a combination of strategy, luck and chance.
Each player is dealt 13 cards, which are separated into two piles, the foot and the hand. Each player is required to meld at least three cards in columns known as sets. A set is a combination of three or more cards of the same suit and rank – for instance four Kings or three Fives. When a set is complete, the player discards one of his cards to the discard pile. He can’t take any cards back into his hands until another turn.

This moderately-sized large clay chiminea chiminea offers an original honeycomb cross-shape on the stack and bowl and is available in soft shades of color. It comes complete in 2 pieces and comes with a removable chimney stand and cover. The iron-colored decorative elements are enhanced to are a feature of the base and stack of this model.
The Blue Tornado
Contrary to larger designs, such as outdoor fireplaces, chimineas give you the freedom to move them around your patio to match your mood or changes in weather. Their wide bases slop into a chimney. They have unique features such as a crossed honeycomb pattern on the bowl and stack. They also have the capacity to disperse smoke from your backyard and into the air.
The Blue Tornado is a regular character from the show. He is a weather-based character with abilities. He first came to the fore when Kaz and Oliver visited Mighty Med. He is a tall man in blue attire and has a tornado on his head, and is able to spin into a tornado-like swirl at high speeds.
This action sucks enemies off their feet and throws them into the air, leaving them vulnerable for a short period of time. This is particularly effective on Egg Pawns that are not protected, Egg Knights and opposing playable characters that are wearing shields.
When used on enemies that are airborne when they are flying, the Blue Tornado can be combined with a forward jump to gain additional height. Holding the jump during or following the jump allows the participant to double jump. This action can knock shields off of enemies who are not wearing them. This is a great method to swiftly eliminate larger enemies. It’s also great to take out flying enemies as the Blue Tornado can disrupt their flight patterns, making it easier to kill them.
Honeycomb Honeycomb
Chimineas are an ideal option for outdoor areas that aren’t as big chiminea as a full-size fireplace. The broad base tapers into a narrow chimney. Some designs have hand-crafted features that enhance the look of your outdoor space. Chimineas can add warmth and character to any backyard, whether it’s a summer warm evening or a cool autumn day.
Honeycomb is a delicious miracle of nature, created by honeybees. It is a perfectly structured hexagonal structure constructed out of natural beeswax and it’s one of the most functional parts of the hive. Today, honeycomb structures are used for numerous scientific and engineering applications.
Honeycomb is used by hives for three purposes: as a nursery for bees that are starting out as well as a place to store pollen until it turns into “bee bread,” and a long-term location for the hive’s reserve of nectar. When a beehive has swarms it, the bees begin an entirely new hive, with a fresh honeycomb foundation.
Bees make honeycombs by moving their flight muscles to produce heat which softens the beeswax plates that they secrete from their abdomens. The bees then shape the wax into cylinders and connect adjacent cells on both sides. This arrangement is extremely constant, which indicates that it’s not the result of blind physical force, but rather a highly-organized construction behavior pattern. This is also an example of convergent evolutionary change that occurs when a similar feature is seen in a variety of closely related species.
