Line-up
Turn Back, the band’s third studio album it was an attempt to return to the classic sextet structure, and a more consistent, stronger album with a sharper edge. The edgier sound of Turn Back was a reflection of the growth of the band. Bobby Kimball’s growing ability to play was evident in the vocals of Joseph Williams, who had become more confident and mature.
