The Canasta
The game of Canasta is part of the Rummy family of card games, was a huge hit in America in the 1950s. The goal of the game is to build melds (three or more cards of the same rank) and canastas (7 or more cards) The bigger the meld, the higher points earned. Wildcards are jokers and 2s. A meld must have at minimum two natural cards to be valid. The first team to achieve 5,000 points wins the game.
Segundo Santos who was a lawyer, as well as Alberto Serrato, an architect created Canasta while playing games of cards with friends in Montevideo, Uruguay in 1939. They wanted to create an alternative game for card players that was less time-consuming than Bridge and less dependent on luck than Rummy. They combined elements of the games Bridge, Rummy and Conquan to create Canasta, a game that combines strategy with luck and chance.
Each player receives 13 cards that are divided into two piles which are called the foot and hand. The player is then required to arrange a minimum three cards into columns. These are called sets. A set is a combination of three or more cards of the same suit and rank – for instance, three Fives or four Kings. Once a set has been completed, the player discards one of his cards to the discard pile. He can’t take any cards back to his hand until the next turn.

This dish comes in a variety of flavors and you can mix and mix the ingredients to create various recipes. Enchiladas are a traditional Mexican dish, and can be made using either flour or corn tortillas.
The Chelada, also known as cerveza preparada, is a refreshing beer drink that is authentically Mexican. Both drinks contain lime juice, a light beer and salt. The chilada traditionally is served with no ice and Tajin or a coarse salt used to rim the glass. The chelada has no tomato juice or clam liquid, sauces, or salsas. It is a variation of the michelada.

Honeycomb is a delicious miracle of nature created by honeybees. It’s a hexagonal shape comprised of beeswax, which is perfectly organized. It’s also one of the most useful elements of the honeybee hive. Honeycomb structures today have many scientific and engineering applications.
Honeycomb is utilized by the hive for three reasons as a nursery to help raise new bees; as a place to store pollen and transform it into “beebread” and finally, for long-term storage facility for nectar. When a beehive has swarms and the bees start the hive from scratch with a new honeycomb foundation.
Bees build honeycomb by moving their flight muscles to produce heat, which softens the beeswax-based plates they release from their abdomens. They then form the softened wax into cylinder shapes and connect them to cells adjacent on each side. This arrangement is extremely uniform, suggesting that it’s not just the result of random physical forces but rather an organized construction behavior pattern. It’s also a remarkable instance of convergent evolution, an instance in which the same pattern emerges in closely related species.

The Blossoms
The Blossoms are an indie group that hails from Stockport, Greater Manchester. The group was formed in 2013 and is comprised of Tom Ogden (lead vocals and guitar), Charlie Salt (bass and backing vocals), Josh Dewhurst (guitar and percussion) and Myles Kellock (keyboards and synthesizers). The group attended Stepping Hill Hospital together, however, they didn’t get to meet until they were teenagers. The band is regarded as a throwback band with funky music that will attract audiences.

The Blossoms’ first chart record that was released on the tiny Challenge Label, was not a success. They continued to make a living as backup singers, notably on hits for Sam Cooke and Duane Eddy. They also appeared in 20 Feet From Stardom, the Oscar-winning documentary.
