Lightest Double Stroller
If you’re looking for a light double stroller, weight and folded dimensions are important factors to consider. Picking one that is easy to handle and compact when not when not in use makes it much easier to fit into the trunk of your car, and to maneuver through airport security and other foreign streets.

Kolcraft Cloud Plus
Designed for families who are constantly on moving. Compact and light weight, it has an easy fold with one hand. The front suspension and all-terrain wheel, as well as the multi-position reclining seats, allow for children to weigh up to 50 pounds. The tray for parents and kids, large storage basket, and a 3-tiered canopy with windows that peek out at the sun provide maximum protection.
The Cloud was awarded one of the lowest scores in our tests of quality because it has a weak seat made of hard plastic and a design which appears outdated. It is also more expensive than other lightweight strollers. This makes it a poor choice for those looking for a budget option.
It’s not the most light stroller but it comes with enough features that it is worth a look. The swiveling front wheels make it easy to move on flat surfaces, and it can jump curbs with little effort, unlike many other lightweight strollers that drift off course when trying to do the same thing. The Cloud’s low, almost knee-high handle is a downside. It’s not adjustable, and it’s not adjustable. It’s uncomfortable to push with your legs dangling in the air and it’s also not helping that it lacks padding.
In our tests and testing, we discovered the Cloud to be simple to set up and open. It’s a bit more complicated to close the cloud, however. You must slide a slider and then press a large white button for it to collapse. This can be frustrating particularly if you’re trying to keep track of kids at the same time.
The Cloud comes with a tiny but spacious storage basket. It can fit the size of a large diaper bag. It’s not the greatest width however it’s likely that you’ll need to put something in to reach back to retrieve it. The Cloud has a child and parent tray with two cup holders however, both are too narrow to hold larger cups or bottles.
Kolcraft is a family-owned business which has been in existence since 1946. Their first products included diapers and crib pads, but they now manufacture a wide range of baby products, including highchairs as well as strollers for infants, car seats and toys. The company is based in Chicago and is an American manufacturer.
Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS
Jeep Destination Ultralight is a lightweight double stroller with infant car seat stroller with a minimalist design that’s ideal for travel. It’s light at 18 lbs (lighter than some single strollers!) It folds flat, making it easy to transport and store. It also features independently reclined seats as well as large SPF 50 sunvisors with peekaboo window. Valco Baby Snap Duo Trend is another incredibly lightweight side by side stroller. It’s heavier than Kolcraft Cloud Plus, at 23 pounds. However, it’s tinier and smaller (26.5 inches wide!) It’s got a lot of luxurious details that make it ideal for travel. It’s a simple fold, is extremely maneuverable and can be tucked away in trunks and overhead compartments of airplanes easily.
The Joovy Kooper X2 tri-folds and is ultralight, just like the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ Double or Mountain Buggy Nano Duo. It’s similar to the Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS but has some key differences. It’s a bit more expensive, but it offers a more shady sun canopy and more maneuverability. It comes with a handy strap for carrying and can hold children weighing up to 44 pounds per seat.
Summer 3D Pac CS+ for infants
If you’re seeking a stroller which is light in weight but also packed with features you’ll find it in the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+. It’s not only crazy lightweight at just 13 pounds and has plenty of storage in the form of child and parent cup holders, a sippy-cup for the child pocket as well as a parent storage compartment and much more. The stroller can also be used with a child’s chair and has a brake that flips that can be easily engaged. It’s designed to adapt to your kids from a baby stroller to a toddler stroller simply by attaching the car seat adapters (sold separately) and is suitable for children aged 6 months old and older.

Children who are taller may have a leg hanging when in reclined positions. It also comes with a large canopy that we found to be more effective in blocking sunlight than other strollers in our top double stroller with bassinet strollers review.
The stroller is light enough to be able to maneuver through door frames. This was a major issue with other strollers we have tested. It folds easily and the handlebars are located close to the ground. The only drawback is its limited storage space, which is tight when stuffed with things for kids.
